How to organize a trip from Valencia

If you live in Valencia, you must have already done different activities there and visited various places. It is wonderful to walk along the Malvarrosa beach, drink Agua de Valencia in a beautiful café, eat a good paella in El Palmar located on the banks of La Albufera and visit the neighbourhoods of Benimacle and Ruzafa. However, the desire to get to know other parts of the world is natural and is enhanced by holidays.

The question you should ask yourself when you decide to leave the beautiful city of Valencia is: How will I get to take my plane? It’s great to think about the things you will do elsewhere. Still, to make your experience really enjoyable, you need to plan ahead for how you will get to the airport, as getting there will take time and money.

How to get to the airport?

To get to Valencia airport, you have several transportation options. You could drive your car or take a taxi, whatever you find on the road, but we recommend you to make a transfer, take the metro or use a bus.

Transfer

Booking a private vehicle to take you to the airport at the time you have indicated to board your flight is definitely the best option. You can hire transfer Valencia service by phone or online and choose the right vehicle for you depending on how many people are accompanying you and the amount of luggage they are carrying. Most of the companies that offer transfer service have three categories of vehicles: classic, VIP and van. Some companies that are geared towards celebratory travel, such as weddings also have limousines.

The transfer is a safe way to get to your destination because you will know in advance the time they will pick you up, the driver and car details, and the cost of the service. You will not have to wait for a public vehicle and risk being late. Keep in mind that it is a slightly more expensive service than a taxi.

Metro

Metrovalencia has two lines that reach the ground floor of the regional flight terminal. Line 3 connects the city centre, the northern area and the university area with the airport. Line 5 connects the port area with Valencia airport.

City bus

Metrobus line 150 also connects the centre of Valencia with the airport. You can buy your ticket on the bus itself. It has a frequency of 26 minutes on working days and 35 minutes on Saturdays. It does not provide transport service on Sundays and holidays.
