The giant in the semiconductor industry formally introduced Atom processors for mobile devices.
Video phone runs Z6xx Atom.
Processor chip called the Intel Atom is used mainly for netbooks and received the enthusiastic support of computer manufacturers. However, its presence on mobile devices are less portable. So Intel decided to launch Atom Z6xx version code-named Lincroft.
Z6xx SoC (System on Chip) is combined from 45 nm Atom processor speeds from 1.5 to 1.9 GHz, Intel’s GMA 600 graphics for 3D gaming capabilities, the encoder and decoder video and system memory controller DDR1, DDR2. Intel says Atom Z6xx power consumption less than 50 times in the regime does not work, 20 times when listening to music, watch videos, and 2-3 times when compared with its previous products. Equipment will be used Z6xx battery for about 10 days in standby mode, over two days in music mode and 4-5 hours of browsing and watching videos.
The appearance of the Atom Z6xx “open door” for Intel into the phone market and lucrative computer table in front of a stunned opponent series as Nvidia, Qualcomm … which gave power saving processor chips based on ARM architecture.
