Cellulite is defined as fatty bulges found in the arms, abdomen, or thighs. Cellulite is composed purely of body toxins. Pinch the thigh. If you see your skin forming dimples that resembles an orange peel or cottage cheese, be prepared for the bad news. Sadly, you got them. Under those dimples is the detested cellulite.

Problems with cellulites are much common in women than in men. Women have thinner skin, that’s why. Statistics show that as much as 70% of women are suffering from cellulites. And sometimes, even thin girls have it.

A lot of people think that cellulites and obesity are the same. However they aren’t. The fact that thin women may have cellulite is a proof that the condition isn’t exclusive to fat women. So if anybody asks you, what is cellulite? Try not to think of a fat woman having bulges in her arms - because as much as you might not want to admit it, you might have it too.

What’s caused Cellulite?

Cellulites may also be influenced by diet, lifestyle, and genetics. Cellulite develops due to several reasons. The major causes include water retention, circulation problems, and nutritional factors including chemical preservatives, hormones, and food additives. Besides, excess intake of saturate fat, sugar, poor hydration, and lack of proper exercise are the other factors that contribute towards the development of cellulite.

How to reduce or eliminate cellulite?

There are a number of ways of reducing or even eliminating cellulite. However, a strict discipline needs to be followed if you really want to get rid of cellulite.

  • Warm up Exercise: aerobic dance of around 15 minutes, or even certain general stretching daily.
  • Weight straining or strength exercises: Proper weight training will help to reduce and eliminate cellulite. Do 5 sets of 8-10 repetitions of every exercise on the cellulite area appear 3 times a week to build muscle on that area.
  • High tech ultrasound technique, radio waves and even laser treatments are the methods that are being used for the treatment of butt cellulite.
  • Attracting water to each of the body’s cells is also important, and you can do this by drinking plenty of water, as well as making sure that your skin is moisturized daily.
  • Appling lotions or oils when you get out of the bath or shower, since skin will absorb moisture better at this time. You just have to try them to see which treatments work best for you.
  • Cellulite soap for bathing: include soap that is infused with seaweed, which helps to penetrate the layers of the skin to melt down the layers of fatty deposits. Of course, but many women claim that the soap works very well.
  • The cellulite lift is also becoming more popular and women are trying this method for slimmer thighs and a smaller stomach area. The lift is most appealing for women who have lost a significant amount of weight, as the lift will improve the look and quality of the skin, yet it won’t get rid of the fatty deposits.
  • Cellulite reduction technique (VelaSmooth): In this procedure, a certain device referred to as the VelaShape is used. The device uses radio frequency and infrared lights to dissolve fats away. Such a device was also duly cleared by the FDA.
