Southern China government has renamed a mountain called Avatar after 3D movie “Avatar” hoping can attract tourists.
Mountain “Head Southern sky” in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, was officially renamed “Avatar Hallelujah” in a ceremony yesterday. Authorities said Hollywood had a photographer taking this pictures back in 2008, and the mountains Hallelujah in the movie inspired by “Head Southern sky.
“A lot of pictures taken when he became the prototype for other details are in the movie Avatar, including mountain Hallelujah”, the official website of the government for Zhangjiajie.
